I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University in Human Development and Family Studies and a concentration in Child Development. After working with preschool children, elementary children and adults with developmental challenges, and teens in a residential treatment center, I went back to school and received my Master’s degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary. Although I graduated from a Christian University, I enjoy working with people from diverse faiths, sexual orientations and ethnic backgrounds. I am LBGT accepting and friendly.
I have also received my certification in Gestalt Therapy from the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies.
I opened my private practice since 2002 and have been honored to work with a variety of individuals from late teens through older adults, female and male.
Support Groups and Workshops I have facilitated:
- Issues of Shame
- Estrangement (severed relationships) Support Group
- WINGS Support Group-Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
- Anxiety Support Group
My clients often describe me as “warm, friendly, supportive, compassionate, and a non-judgmental spirit”
